Global Partners is a Fund of Funds investing in local Private
Equity & Venture Capital Funds in China, India, Middle East
and North Africa (ChInMENA). Anvil’s objective and goal
is to provide investors access to the explosive growth potential
of ChInMENA through creating a multi-manager PE & VC fund
of funds. Anvil seeks to produce superior risk-adjusted rates
of return that have a low correlation to traditional equity
markets by developing and proactively managing a balanced portfolio
of top performing fund managers. Anvil
Global Partners has also established a school alliance with
Wharton Global Consulting Practicum (GCP). Through the alliance
with Wharton GCP, a formalized student consulting program
with 30 years of successful operational history, Anvil is
creating enhanced alpha and return for investors by providing
high quality value-add and consulting services for the funds’
portfolio companies. Anvil has helped Wharton GCP to establish
alliances with Beijing University, Fudan University, National
Taiwan University, and to revive the partnership with India
Business School. Anvil is also in the process of establishing
an alliance with the American University at Sharjah. These
alliances will contribute greatly to ensure that Anvil builds
a strong relationship with the top performing PE&VC funds
in ChInMENA.
Anvil has received strong support from
the Wharton community with Dean Thomas Robertson, Leonard
Lodish, Marshall Meyers, and Jagmohan Raju joining the Board
of Advisors. The deans of the partner schools in ChInMENA
are also part of the Board. Anvil has also put together a
Wharton-alumni based fund selection committee with an average
